Parallel to the promotion of the art of younger generations, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo is actively involved in different training programs, focusing in particular on the figure of the contemporary art curator.

In 2007 the Foundation started a residency program addressed to young foreign curators from the most prestigious curatorial schools worldwide, selected by an international jury. The project is designed to provide a link between the final stages of higher education and the entry into the professional world, and allows students to develop an in-depth knowledge of the Italian art scene.

On the basis of this program, the Foundation developed another project, named CAMPO, addressed to aspiring young Italian curators. CAMPO is a specialized post-graduate course that offers theoretical knowledge in the field of Curatorial Studies, as well as providing direct experience in the functioning of a museum and a wide knowledge of the contemporary art scene in Italy, thanks to the travel residency formula.
