On Thursday 18 April 2024, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo will present “Pinky Pinky ‘Good’: San Giacomo’s Leap into Tomorrow”, a new project by Korean artist, dancer, and choreographer Eun-Me Ahn, on Isola di San Giacomo in the Venice Lagoon. The event, curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, coincides with the pre-opening of the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.
Visitors will have the opportunity to return to San Giacomo, the Fondazione’s third venue, currently undergoing restoration and set to open to the public in 2025.
Pinky Pinky “Good” is a collective and transformative ritual for blessing, inspired by Korean shamanic tradition and conceived specially for Isola di San Giacomo. Eun-Me Ahn invokes the spirits of the past on an island that at different times hosted an ancient monastery and a Napoleonic-era military garri- son, honoring its new existence as a place for contemporary art.

The project is accompanied by a publication edited by Mark Rappolt that will be available during the event.
The event, produced by Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, is also made possible thanks to sponsors Asja and UBS, technical sponsor Samsung Foundation of Culture and the support of PKM Gallery.
