The purpose of the workshops for the adult public, which the Foundation has offered since 2010, is to give participants an experience that involves knowledge and creativity, thereby fulfilling the expectations that have emerged from questionnaires and qualitative assessment forms compiled by visitors to the Foundation: acquire new knowledge and have an active experience in the museum. Workshops are designed for young adults and adults, with free admission for subscribers. They take place in the evening hours, have a length of two hours each and are scheduled during the Thursday free opening. Set in the exhibition space, during the Foundation’s opening hours, they also allow ordinary visitors, who have not subscribed to the workshops, to experience the museum space differently, with an active, informal approach.
The adult workshops offer a rich set of activities, which focus on small groups of works, picked among the ones on display. They alternate between activities inside the exhibition space and a follow-up work in the classroom space, and between individual contributions and work in small groups. They do not require technical or specific knowledge, and are not based on the teaching of artistic techniques, but are instead guided by the idea of work and exhibition as a source of inspiration, an opportunity to analyze, interpret, exchange views and draw conclusions.
Numbers: 20 participants for each workshop, 8/10 workshops each year
Target: adults with no age limits
