DESCRIPTION:Conferenza di Fatima Hellberg\nMercoledì 18 maggio 2016\, ore 18 \nMercoledì 18 maggio 2016\, alle ore 18\, nel bookshop della Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo\, Fatima Hellberg presenterà al pubblico Container and Contained\, il suo programma espositivo per la Künstlerhaus Stuttgart. \nDa gennaio del 2015 Fatima Hellberg è Direttrice artistica della Künstlerhaus Stuttgart\, istituzione fondata da artisti nel 1978 che ha visto alla direzione nomi eccellenti della scena internazionale come Ute Meta Bauer e Nicholas Schaffhausen. Ha curato mostre e progetti in istituzioni come Tate Modern\, South London Gallery\, ICA (Londra)\, Malmö Konsthall (Svezia) e lavorato con artisti come Gregg Bordowitz\, James Richards\, Laurie Spiegel\, Beatriz Preciado e Julia Heyward. Prima di essere nominata alla direzione artistica della Künstlerhaus Stuttgart\, era curatrice a Cubitt (Londra) dove ha organizzato una programmazione di mostre sperimentali\, di performances e pubblicazioni.\nHellberg è contributor per Frieze\, Texte zur Kunst e Afterall e ha tenuto conferenze in instituzioni come If I Can’t Dance\, I Don’t Want To Be Part of Your Revolution (Amsterdam)\, KunstWerke\, (Berlino); Sandberg Institute (Amsterdam); Tate Modern (Londra); Museo d’arte moderna di Varsavia.\nSvedese di origini\, Hellberg ha studiato History of Art and Visual Culture alla Oxford University e ha ottenuto un MA in Curating Contemporary Art al Royal College of Art\, Londra. \nL'evento è organizzato in collaborazione con Goethe-Institut Turin. La conferenza è parte del programma formativo di Campo\, il corso per Curatori della Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo\, sostenuto dalla Fondazione per l’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea CRT nell’ambito del progetto RESÒ. \nGoethe-Institut Turin
