From iconic images \u2014 photographer Nan Goldin\u2019s <em>Joey on my roof, NYC<\/em> (1991) or Barbara Kruger\u2019s <em>Untitled (Not ugly enough)<\/em> (1997) \u2014 to newer imaginaries \u2014 Canadian painter Ambera Wellman\u2019s <em>To a Girl in a Garden<\/em> (<em>2023) <\/em>or American artist Danielle Mckinney\u2019s <em>She <\/em>(2023) \u2014 the exhibition gives visitors and the university community the chance to experience world-class art. Each touches on the construction of identity, particularly through the lenses of gender and sexuality, using different methods \u2014 including humor, exaggeration, shifting scale and the language of advertising \u2014 to investigate stereotypes and expectations. Organized by&nbsp; six groupings \u2014 Infinite Possibilities, Systems of Value, Becoming a Commodity, The Private and The Public Body, The Notion of the Fa\u00e7ade, and In Front of the Camera\/Behind the Scenes \u2014&nbsp; the exhibition is curated by Manetti Shrem Museum Associate Curator and Exhibition Department Head, Susie Kantor.
